Meet the Coaches

11U Head Coach
Pam Headley
Coach Pam has been coaching in the community for over 15 years and brings a passion for developing athletes both on and off the court. She began her coaching journey with the City of Surprise before moving on to middle school and club volleyball. Throughout her career, Coach Pam has led multiple teams to success, earning two CAA State Championships — one with her Junior Girls team and another with her Junior High Boys team. Her dedication, energy, and love for the game continue to inspire young athletes.

11U Assistant Coach
Coach Janis
Coach Janis has been coaching middle school sports for a couple of years now. She brings incredible energy and positivity to every team she leads, always bringing the hype and encouraging her athletes to give their best.

12U Coaches
Nic & Christine Radichel
We welcome the Radichel's back after a season break to focus on family. With 2 children that share their love of the game we are excited they are developing a young team to take on the world!

13 National Coach
Kendra Ritter
Kendra is the Director Manager for Matrix Volleyball. She has been coaching for 15 years. She has coached littles all the way to the highest level 18s teams. She is a 2 in a row state champion coach for boys middle school. State runner up boys HS and poised to win state this year. As a former college athlete her knowledge is crucial to upcoming athletes who take advantage of it.

14-1 Head Coach
Cort Cox
Played collegiate volleyball. He is a loving husband and father of three. Second year with Matrix volleyball. Has years of experience with sports and coaching. Looking forward to a great season. Every team Cort has been entrusted with has improved dramatically.

14-1 Assistant Coach
Hana Trom
Hana is returning to Matrix as an assistant coach. She played years of club as a Libero and defensive specialist. She has lots of volleyball experience to pass on to these girls.

15s National Head Coach
Coach Avery
I am a personal trainer and health coach who strives to promote self growth and positivity to everyone I meet. Personally, my life centers around empowerment and passion and this is what I desire for my athletes. I have spent my whole life playing volleyball and currently work as the head of both the boys and girls volleyball department at Highland Prep High School. Not only do I love coaching, but I love watching young individuals find their voice and their talent.
I’m so excited to be apart of Matrix Volleyball Club and can’t wait to watch my 15’s team grow throughout this upcoming season. As a former college player she is excited to share her love for the game.

15U Assistant Coach
Erin Bock
Erin is a high school science teacher at American Leadership Academy West Foothills. She began playing volleyball in 6th grade, quickly falling in love with the game and eventually becoming captain of her varsity team. During college at Penn State, she stayed connected to the sport by playing in rec leagues. Erin was the assistant coach for the ALA junior high girls team this past season, helping lead them to a runner-up finish in the Division 4 state championships. Erin is thrilled to be a part of Matrix and is especially excited to work with the 15s this season!

16s Head Coach
Coach Kenzie
This will be Kenzie’s 3rd season coaching with Matrix. Kenzie played volleyball for 13 years before she decided to fully focus on coaching. She loves pouring into the athletes and teaching them valuable skills that they can use on and off the court. Kenzie just completed a season as the Varsity assistant coach at ALA and cannot wait for this upcoming club season!

16s Assistant Coach
Melissa O'Donnal
Melissa has coached for Matrix for several years and teams have succeeded. She was a multi-sport college athlete and is still very much into competition. Looking forward to an amazing season.

17U Head Coach
Mike Williams
Mike is returning to Matrix this year for the 2nd season. Coach Mike is currently the JV A & B coach at Odyssey HS. Mike has years of coaching experience and athletes soak up his volleyball insight. Mike is excited for a great season!

17U Nationals Assistant Coach
Eliana Dean
Currently on the #1 ranked sand volleyball team at Ottowa University.
She has been playing since a little girl, and has always had a passion for the game.
Coach Dean just finished up JV B girls team at ALA High School and is ready to jump into club ball.
She currently is coaching boys middle school B team at ALA middle school.
She has an eye for polishing players on fundamentals, and will improve every player’s game.

18 Open Assistant Coach
Coach Hailey
Hailey is returning to Matrix again this year as assistant coach to the 18s open team. She had an amazing run as a setter in HS and college and are so glad she is returning and sharing her knowledge with our athletes. Her positive attitude and influence can be felt, hence an amazing coach!

18s Head Coach
Melissa O'Donnal
